3 Best Boro Restaurants According to My Stomach
Wanting a good local joint to grab some grub? Look no further! Here are my top 3 locally owned restaurants for the Boro!
Top of The Rock
Top of the Rock is a fairly new scratch restaurant and brewery located a little over an hour south down I-24 in Jasper….at the literal top of a Tennessee mountain.
Monday Night Preservation Society
Monday Night Preservation Company…Nashville’s coolest new taproom in the Neuhoff development. Outdoor spaces for brews, cornholes, great music and lively atmosphere.
Cafe Makai
Cafe Makai in Nashville is a hidden gem of fresh eats and one phenomenal cup of Joe. Located across the street down from Belmont University and perfectly situated between The Gulch and 12 South makes for a great way to catch a meal before exploring some of our best communities!
Bobby Hotel Rooftop Nashville
Love rooftop bars hovering over the Nashville skyline? Hate the cold? Bobby has you covered. Literally.
Pins Mechanical Nashville
Oh, how we love this place. Imagine if Chuckie Cheese or Dave & Busters decided to replace the “kid” vibe with the “dog” vibe and brought every activity imaginable under one roof. Don’t get me wrong …kids and teens are allowed until 8pm but, this place wasn’t built for them. It was built for us. The Adults. The individuals who pay the bills.
Bourbon Steak: JW Marriott
The JW itself is gorgeous, sleek and exactly what you expect of the “New Nashville.” Their restaurant, Bourbon Steak? The same…if the same had snorted several lines of steroids. The views are spectacular and not just from one seat or table. If you’re not seated near the windows, you have the backdrop of incredible chandeliers, luxurious furnishings and beautiful people to keep you entertained.
Urban Cowboy Nashville
Bringing you fine folks an East Nashville staple that you will LOVE. It’s like visiting a good friend’s house that has a bomb ass back patio with firepits, comfy seating and phenomenal bartenders. The cocktails are so good that you'll want to pitch a tent in the parking lot and send in a change of address to the USPS. Actually, you don’t have to pitch a tent…you can just book one of their suites in the main house. Yep…that’s right…it’s a B&B with a bar open to the public out back. It’s a place where you invite friends, make new friends and spend the entire day hanging out and then crawl upstairs to crash.
Mayday Brewery Murfreesboro
Craft Brewers. It’s become a huge business throughout the U.S. and The Boro is no different. The O.G. of Boro Brewery is our personal fav…Mayday Brewery. When we first started to visit Mayday, the block of industrial buildings that house their frothy goodness had absolutely nothing going for it…other than beer. It seriously looked like a backdrop for one of the Saw movies.
